KOMERO Claude connector (MCP)
Every KOMERO store exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at https://mcp.komero.ge/mcp/<your-domain>. Added to Claude as a custom connector, it lets merchants manage the store in plain language instead of clicking through the admin panel: creating and editing products, categories, brands and facets, reviewing and fulfilling orders, writing and translating blog posts, and rebuilding storefront sections and themes. Authentication uses the merchant's existing KOMERO admin account, so Claude inherits exactly the permissions that account already has, no more. Storefront design changes are written to a draft configuration and reach the live site only when the merchant publishes them. The connector is available to every KOMERO tenant at no extra cost and can be disconnected from Claude at any time.

Connect your KOMERO store to Claude once. After that you just write what you want: a new category, a rewritten product description, a redesigned homepage, a blog post in two languages. Claude does it inside your store.
Set it up step by step
Setup takes a few minutes and is done once per store. You need a KOMERO admin account and a Claude account that supports custom connectors.

Copy your store’s MCP URL
In your KOMERO admin, open “Connect Claude”. It shows the MCP address of your store and copies it with one click. It always looks like this:

Open Claude and press Add
In claude.ai open Customize → Connectors, press the “+ Add” button in the top right corner and choose “Add custom connector”.

Enter a name and paste the URL
Give the connector any name (your store name works well), paste the MCP URL you copied above, then press Continue.

Leave the detected settings and press Add
On the second screen Claude detects the sign-in method by itself and marks it “Detected”. Change nothing here, just press Add.

Press Connect
The connector page opens with your store URL on it. Press Connect to start the sign-in.

Sign in with your Komero admin account
Use the same email and password as your admin panel. Claude can only do what your account is allowed to do, and design changes go live only when you publish them.

Choose “Always allow”
Open the dropdown next to the tool list and pick “Always allow” so Claude stops asking for approval on every action. That’s it, from now on you just chat.
What Claude can do in your store
123 tools in total: 62 for reading, 51 for writing and deleting, 10 for design and pages. Reading runs freely; every write asks for your approval until you allow it.
Products and catalogue
Create, edit, bulk-update and delete products, attach images, set stock, build variant groups, manage categories, brands and facets, and move products from one category to another.
Orders and delivery
Go through orders, change an order's status, book a courier, track a shipment, and set up shipping zones, rates and delivery cost rules.
Storefront design
Rebuild the homepage and any page section by section, swap the header or footer zone, edit the theme, site settings and the 404 page, and create custom or info pages.
Draft and publishing
Every design change lands in a draft. Claude can diff the draft against the live site, validate it, show the change history, and publish or discard it only when you say so.
Blog and content
Write, edit, publish or archive blog posts, manage blog categories and tags, approve or reject comments, and keep the FAQ up to date.
Promotions and coupons
Build promotions as drafts, activate, pause, duplicate or archive them, generate coupon codes, and test a promotion against a sample cart before it goes out.
Languages and translation
Add or remove storefront languages, translate product texts and interface strings, and check how much of the store is already translated.
Analytics and SEO
Ask for sales summaries, top sellers, per-product sales history and payment reports, and run an SEO audit of the whole store.
Frequently asked
Do I need a paid Claude plan?
Custom connectors are a paid-plan feature on claude.ai (Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise). The KOMERO side costs nothing extra, every store gets its MCP address included.
Can Claude break my live store?
No more than a staff member could. Claude acts strictly inside your account’s permissions, and storefront design edits are written to a draft, so nothing reaches the live site until you press publish.
Is my password shared with Anthropic?
No. You sign in on a KOMERO page and Claude receives an access token, not your password. Press Disconnect in Claude to revoke it at any time.
What can Claude actually manage?
Products, categories, brands, facets, orders, customers, blog posts, pages, storefront sections and themes. Over 60 read tools plus the write tools your account is allowed to use.
Does it work in Georgian?
Yes. Ask in Georgian, English or Russian, and Claude writes localized content into every language your store has enabled.
