KOMERO payment gateways
KOMERO ships native integration with the two payment gateways that cover the Georgian market: TBC Bank E-Commerce and Bank of Georgia iPay. Both are pre-configured in every storefront - merchants add their acquirer credentials in the admin panel and cards start clearing the same day. Apple Pay and Google Pay are enabled by default on Safari and Chrome respectively. Georgian installment products (Natsil-Natsil from TBC and from Bank of Georgia) are exposed as a checkout option without any additional contract, letting customers split purchases across three, six, or twelve months from the bank they already use. There is no third-party payment plugin, no separate developer contract with either bank, and no monthly gateway fee beyond the acquirer's own MDR. All plans include this integration; the Standard plan (₾99/month) is enough to accept TBC, Bank of Georgia, and installment payments live in production.

What KOMERO Payments actually gives you
Selling online in Georgia means clearing cards through TBC Bank or Bank of Georgia - the two acquirers that cover 90%+ of Georgian card volume. On Shopify, WooCommerce, and Wix, connecting either one takes a developer, a third-party plugin, and usually a separate installment contract. On KOMERO, both are pre-integrated. Payment gateway FAQ
Does KOMERO charge a payment gateway fee?
No. KOMERO does not add any per-transaction fee on top of your acquirer's MDR (merchant discount rate). What TBC or Bank of Georgia charges you is what you pay. Integration is included in every plan from ₾99/month.
Do I need a developer to connect TBC or Bank of Georgia?
No. You need only the acquirer credentials your bank issues when your merchant account is approved (usually a Merchant ID and a certificate or client key). You paste them into the KOMERO admin, choose which methods appear at checkout, and payments are live. No code.
How long does it take to go live with TBC and BOG payments?
Same day, provided you already have an approved merchant account with the bank. Merchant account approval itself takes 3–10 business days at TBC and Bank of Georgia - that step is on the bank, not KOMERO. Once you have credentials, integration is minutes.
Can customers pay in installments (Natsil-Natsil)?
Yes. Both TBC and Bank of Georgia installment products are exposed as a checkout method on all paid plans. The customer selects installments at checkout, the bank approves in-flow, and you as the merchant are paid the full amount upfront on settlement.
Does KOMERO support Apple Pay and Google Pay?
Yes. Apple Pay is enabled by default on Safari (iOS and macOS) and Google Pay on Chrome. Both route through the same TBC or BOG acquirer - no separate contract needed.
Can I refund a payment from the KOMERO admin?
Yes. Full and partial refunds, voids, and settlement status are all handled from the order page in the KOMERO admin panel. No need to log into the bank's merchant portal.
What about international cards?
TBC and Bank of Georgia both process international Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and UnionPay. If you plan cross-border sales, you can also route via Stripe or other providers on the roadmap - for the Georgian market, TBC and BOG cover everything.
